Well it's been a while since I last posted, part of the problem is my Macbook has deciced to break, and  I can no longer blog from work. I've also been on holiday, well thats one good thing anyway.

I have been working on the bike, pulled the loom back into the bike so it no longer hangs out by the front light. retaped it to make it a little tidier and noticed that the rear light on the Komp-Tech seat is a 6v one! Hmmm.

So looks like I will have to find a round 12v unit.

Longest ever rebuild?

Had a phone call from my local Triumph garage saying my yokes are ready to be collected at a cost of £85!!! I though I had misheard, but then again I did go for new top and bottom bearing as well as the dustcap, so total cost of powder coating the yokes is £105! - Hmmm I must be mad.

I do think to myself will ever get this bloody bike finished, well it nearly was, but I wasn't happy with some of the result. Im keen to get the bike rewired too, tidy up the mess that normally goes inside the front light, anybody know a good auto electrician in the Bournemouth area?
