  1. That's a pretty good job, the exhaust silencer in black coming out on the left is quite subtle, although I suspect the sound is less subtle ;-)

The LSL reare mudguard fits well, I've seen some alloy rear guards that came to an abrupt stop around the top shock mount, the LSL blends in nicely. I'll keep that in mind.

      hi mac e
you can hear it on that utube thing, search "bonneville tt special"

i saw that problem on other bonnies with the lsl m/guards so i modified mine by bending the corners up.

  2. hi mac E thanks for the comment,
there are a couple of video clip on youtube "triumph bonneville tt special" and "triumph bonneville tt special dyno run" to give you an idea of how it sounds.

i noticed that problem with the lsl mudgaurd on other bonnies so i modified the end of mine.

    regards mike

  4. I like what you did but I always find the 17 inch wheels to be too small looking for these bikes, you can get away with one on the back but not the front. I know 17inch gets you a bigger choice of rubber but I'd rather go 18s front and back at minimum. Great job otherwise....just my opinion and we know what that's worth.

thanks for the comments. as i like to ahem! use the full potential of this bike, tyre choice was something i was not prepared to compromise on.
but seeing as the original 67 bonneville tt special had 18" rims front and rear i don't feel have strayed to far from the look.
